Viewed through Anni Hellman's kaleidoscope, personal and political,
biography and bureaucracy, mingle into vortexes and clusters of colour
and significance. In addition to paintings and collages, Hellman puts on
display also three-dimensional works: painted furniture. A glimpse in
Hellman's painted living room conveys simultaneously biographic
reference as well as commentary on the peculiarities of modern
everyday life, all conducted with exquisite irony and self-reflection.
